What is Send?

Send is money that answers to you: an app for iOS, Android and the web that sends money to anyone, anywhere, any hour. Only you can approve a payment, and Send never holds your money. Your Send Account is an onchain account on the Base network.

Do I need a password or a seed phrase?

No. Send uses passkeys: trusted devices authorized to sign your account’s transactions. Your account is protected by your device and authorized only by you, and you can add up to 20 passkeys.

What is a Sendtag?

A Sendtag is your name on Send, like /maya, so people can pay you without a long wallet address. You can register up to 5 Sendtags; they are priced by length, and the shorter the Sendtag, the more it costs.

How do I add money to Send?

Deposit from an external crypto wallet on the Base network, or transfer from your Coinbase account.

Can I send money to someone who is not on Send?

Yes. Send Link lets you send money to anyone with a shareable link, no wallet address needed. If the link is not claimed, you can cancel it to get your funds back.

Can a transfer be reversed?

No. Transfers can’t be reversed once sent, so check who you’re paying before you confirm. Send warns you the first time you send to someone and when an account has been flagged as a potential imposter.
